Apple has unveiled visionOS 2, the most recent version of its visionOS operating system, which enables users to produce 3D spatial photographs from 2D images via depth information and machine learning. The upgrade now lets users customize their Home View, switch apps, and access the Bora Bora Environment. Environments have been changed so that users can see their Magic Keyboard or MacBook keyboard while immersed, making it easier to type and interact with Safari while watching web-based videos.

watchOS 11 released

Apple has released watchOS 11 for the Apple Watch. This update is compatible with all variants of the Apple Watch Ultra, including the Apple Watch SE 2. It's compatible with Apple Watch Series 6 and later. The patch includes new widgets like Shazam and Photos, as well as interactive widgets and live activities. 

HomePod Software 18 released

Apple has made HomePod Software 18 available for the HomePod and HomePod mini. This version features support for spatial audio settings, a new SharePlay tool, and the ability to choose a Home Hub. The newest iteration of Apple's operating system, tvOS 18, is available for Apple TV 4K and HD devices. The update comes with enhanced communication with machine learning and computational audio as well as InSight, a real-time information tool akin to Amazon X-ray. It also supports Bluetooth devices including AirPods and HDMI-connected speakers. There are now live captions for FaceTime calls and fresh screen saver choices.

Apple has released iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 for the iPhone and iPad. Downloading these updates is absolutely free and can be done by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update on your device. iOS 18 supports the third-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro and later, all 11-inch iPad Pro models, the third-generation iPad Air and later, the seventh-generation iPad, and the fifth-generation iPad mini and later. iPadOS 18 is, however, only compatible with the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone SE 2 and later. Additionally, Apple has released an upgrade for iOS 17.7 for users who are still using iOS 17.

Mac OS X Sequoia, the most recent version of the operating system built particularly for Mac users, has been released by Apple. This free update is available for the MacBook Pro (2018 and after), the MacBook Air (2020 and later), the Mac mini (2018 and later), all Mac Studio models, the iMac (2019 and later), and the iMac Pro. The update includes a feature called iPhone Mirroring, which allows users to control and monitor their iPhone from their Mac, as well as run iPhone applications and receive notifications even while the device is locked.
